MY PET HAS A SPECIAL DIET. CAN THEIR NEEDS BE ACCOMMODATED?

Yes. Special dog food can be stored in the refrigerator. The dogs are fed separately to prevent aggressive behavior and food stealing.

WHERE DO MY DOGS SLEEP AT NIGHT?

All dogs have indoor access which is weather-protected and temperature controlled. I have crates available if your dog prefers to be crated as well. Cots are available for all dogs to sleep on for comfort.

TIPS FOR PICKUP AND DROPOFF

Max

Dropoff:

  1. You are more worried than your dog!

  2. Your dog will be playing with other dogs and having a blast in no time.

  3. Acting nervous, upset, or coddling your dog can make them feel that something is wrong or different.

  4. Use a calm and happy voice and say a quick goodbye as if it's just a normal thing!

Picking up: After picking up your dog from boarding, you might notice a few changes

  1. Drinking excessively: One of them is that your dog may seem excessively thirsty and drink more water than usual. But don't worry, your dog had 24/7 access to clean and fresh water. Excessive drinking is due to the excitement of seeing you or the stress of the car ride home. It's recommended to let them drink small amounts of water at a time to avoid making them sick. After that, allow them to settle and regain their regular drinking habits.

  2. Change in appetite: Another change you might notice is that your dog may eat their food ravenously when they get home. Again, there's no need to worry. Your dog was fed while away. The excitement of seeing you and being back may change their normal behavior. It's important to let them settle for 3-4 hours after returning home before feeding them.

  3. Change in poop or vomiting: All this excitement or stress may result in your dog's stool being soft or loose. If your dog is vomiting, it could be for the same reason, or it drank too much water or ate too fast. If vomiting and diarrhea persist for more than two days after arriving home, then please contact your veterinarian.
